Troy was born November 22nd 1981 in a small town of Duncannon, Pennsylvania, where he attended Susquenita School District.  At an early age, Troy took up wrestling and football, however later give up wrestling despite constant pressure to come back from the coaches.  Hunting and fishing took up much of his precious time.  After completing high school he joined the US Coast Guard and was stationed in Activities New York.  This is where working out and training became very crucial for him.  What seemed like a hobby, became a passion of his.   Training 2-3 times a day, a new desire began to arise inside of him.  Just a short time after 9/11, Troy was transferred to Atlantic City, NJ where he would begin his training as part of a Coast Guard Aircrew.  Here, he participated in many Search and Rescue missions, including being a first responder to Hurricane Katrina.

Atlantic City became home to Troy and would also be the place he would begin his fighting career.  He began to experiment in different gyms.  Under the tutelage of Rickson Gracie BJJ black Belt Joe Diamond he would start to take his raw wrestling talents and convert them into solid BJJ base and Muay Thai striking training with Tony Moelius.  He soon tested his abilities in the cage.  After a slow start he got on track with 3 consecutive wins, including the New Breed Fighters Heavyweight title.  With this title, he had more in mind.  He then set his sights on his Pro Debut adding to his arsenal is the World Class Conditioning and Boxing training of 5 time World Champion Virgil ”Quicksilver” Hill.  Troy has really found this to be his home in boxing.   He fell into a great training team with Virgil Hill and newest grappling Instructor Jason Alcoba.  Shortly after forming they created an elite training facility called ALL N  MMA, where you can find Troy and many other fighters, hard at work improving their skills.

This is just the beginning of Troys career.  He has a drive and desire to keep climbing to the top.  He trains hard and trains with the best.  His fans are his pride and what keeps him coming back for more.  Don’t miss out on what is up next for “Trouble” Troy Maxwell.  Stay up to date with the site as Troy pushes his way to success in the Combat Sports Arena.  A special thanks to all of the people who support him and his career without you all it couldnt happen!
